In order of creation, Njaama came fourth, as far as the languages listed on this site goes. It's inspiration came from the music of Baaba Maal, and the language itself was influenced by Pulaar, Middle Egyptian, Hausa, and Swahili (in no particular order). In designing it, I wanted to make it so that I create words for all levels of discourse: technical vocabulary, slang, archaicisms, etc. Another goal was to make it so that I would create lots of synonyms. Lastly, I decided I should make at least one language with tones, and this one was it. A real tone language is far too complicated, though, so I created a pitch accent system. I hope it's realistic. Anyway, that's my spiel. So now I'm done. Forever.
